After ceasing production in 2015, The GlenDronach Revival Aged 15 years now returns to the core range of the distillery’s line-up. The expression embodies The GlenDronach’s signature style of Spanish Sherry Cask maturation in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía. It's back with a new recipe thanks to master blender Rachel Barrie.
Nose: Coffee beans, sponge cake drenched in sherry, mint leaf, slightly buttery, sultana.
Palate: Oily walnut, new leather, blackberry and apple crumble, toasted brown sugar and a touch of licorice root.
Finish: Fresh ginger, waxy orange, caramelized dried fruit and a hint of cigar box.
