Description

The 2025 Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais Nouveau has a vibrant purple hue. It shows bright red cherry and wild strawberry aromas with a hint of violet and spice. On the palate, it is juicy and lifted, with bright acidity, and a "glou-glou" or easy-drinking quality, highlighted by its fresh red fruit flavors and a balanced finish.

The Gamay was sourced from estate vineyards with vines averaging 50-years-old (and some as old as 100-years-old), grown in soils of granite, clay, and limestone. The grapes were fermented using natural, indigenous yeasts and underwent whole-cluster carbonic maceration in cement tanks. The wine was vinified without added sulfur dioxide (SO₂), was neither chaptalized, filtered, nor degassed, preserving its natural expression. These methods aim to produce a pure, honest, and terroir-driven wine that stands apart from other, more industrial Beaujolais Nouveaux.
