Description

Raised on an organic farm in Plettenberg Bay, Nuschka de Vos developed an early respect for sustainability. Mentored by Rosa Kruger—renowned for her work with South Africa’s Old Vine Project—she studied Viticulture and Oenology at Stellenbosch and gained international experience in Bordeaux, the Mosel, and New Zealand. Six years at Reyneke Wines cemented her belief that great wine is grown in the vineyard, not manufactured in the cellar.

Only 900 bottles of this 100% Chenin Blanc are produced. Named after the Cape fox (Vulpes Chama), it comes from two Paardeberg parcels, picked 10 days apart. Grapes were whole-bunch pressed, fermented spontaneously in old French oak, and aged on fine lees after full malolactic. Bottled January 18th, it reflects precision and purity from start to finish.
