Dominique Lafon, the celebrated Meursault winemaker, saw the potential of Mâconnais long before others and founded Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon in 1999 to prove it. The domaine farms biodynamically across the southern Mâconnais, and these Chardonnays show what the region can really do at honest prices. Milly-Lamartine is the historic heart of the estate, the original parcels Lafon began with. Expect a rounder, more open-knit Mâcon with the freshness and class that Lafon brings to everything.
