Domaine Huet is revered around the world for its legendary, incredibly long-lived Vouvrays. Of special note are their Demi-Sec Chenin Blanc bottlings which offer another level of complexity and ageability that can be quite special. This 2022 from the Le Mont vineyard is a classic example with textbook honey undertones, a hint of ginger, an appealing nuttiness and a wonderfully lush, rich texture that can make one swoon. Yet underneath that full-bodied succulence is an excellent dose of bright acidity with admirable nerve that, combined with its admirable structure, will allow this wine to last for many more years.
