Description
A blended selection of barrels from single vineyard Chardonnays, representing several sub-AVAs within the Sonoma Coast. The Charles Heintz Vineyard & Bohemian Vineyard in the Green Valley sub-AVA, along with the Marine Layer Vineyard in Sebastopol Hills. Foggy, cool evenings, unique microclimates, and illustrious Goldridge soils define these sought-after sites. Pale straw in color with a nose that leaps from the glass, reminiscent of lemon curd, green apple, and hints of jasmine flower. On the palate, the wine bursts with a bright and brilliant array of citrus, from Makrut lime to Meyer lemon peel, interwoven with an ever-present stony minerality. Its fresh acidity is complemented by a subtle hint of oak and marzipan from barrel age.
