Description
This is a fun blend of equal parts Chardonnay and Mauzac, with 10% each of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon added. The wine was fermented in and then aged on its lees in stainless steel after it went through malolactic fermentation. It is bright and fresh with citrus aromas on the nose from the Sauvignon Blanc followed by fresh juicy apple flavors on the mid-palate from the Chardonnay and crisp, bright acidity from the Vermentino. A very nice wine for $12 a bottle.
