Description
The Padelletti family has roots in Montalcino dating back to 1571, and today is in its 27th generation at the helm of the estate. The northern location of their four hectares dedicated exclusively to Brunello, paired with its altitude of over 400 meters, make for excellent quality. A traditionalist when it comes to the cellar, at the Padelletti the wine is aged for two to three years in large format French and Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is left in bottle for six to twelve months before being released.
The wine shows the classic Sangiovese red fruit herbal notes, supported by the supple texture and fine leather notes that come from aging in the traditional larger barrels.
