Brauerei Heinrich Reissdorf is considered one of the preeminent brewers of Kölsch, and we can certainly understand why considering its beautiful balance, complexity, and perfectly crisp character! In fact, we thought it fitting to feature this quintessential style in our inaugural Beer Club release last year. Aromas of crackery malt, baked bread, and fragrant hops are followed by a bright acidity and a hint of spice on the medium-bodied palate. More floral hop notes are revealed on the palate, and a pleasant note of toasted barley leads the way to the full-flavored yet refreshingly crisp finish. Perfect on its own, this would also be absolutely delicious alongside fish and chips or grilled oysters! ABV: 4.80%.
