Traditionally grain whiskies are distilled in column stills, however Nikka also distills a malt whisky in their famous Coffey Still located in the Miyagikyo Distillery. Chosen as the 'Japanese Whisky of 2018', Nikka Coffey Malt whisky started to be the center of attraction for many people at the bottle stores. Has a clean cut nose with citrus, Christmas cake and waxy notes. The palate is dense and spicy with cloves, cinnamon and beautiful stone fruit. Long finish with oaky and zesty traces.
