The origin of fruit brandies dates back to the 17th century when an apothecary monk from the East of France, looking for an elixir of long life, had the idea of burning fermented cherry pulp. He had just invented kirsch… Since then, Master Distillers have perfected this art that begins in the orchard, with the selection of fruits from the best terroirs, benefiting from the best sunshine and reaching the right maturity.
This eau de vie is a must-have from the Massenez Distillery. The nose is intense and fruity, and the palate is harmonious, with a fair balance between the freshness of the fruit and its roundness… The fruit is easily recognizable, and this is no coincidence, since a bottle contains the equivalent of fourteen kilograms of Williams Pears.
