Description
From the producer, "Vineyard: Hopkins River Ranch is located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, southeast of the town of Windsor. Bob Hopkins has been farming grapes in the heart of the Russian River Valley since the 1970s. We have been lucky enough to purchase S.B. from the Hopkins family since 2013. We made this wine from a block of Clone 1 Sauvignon Blanc that was planted in 2016. This was our second vintage from this young block, and we are just loving the results. We have been able to pick the grapes are moderate brix levels and achieve classic Sauvignon Blanc flavors with low alcohol and great acidity.
Tasting Notes: Our Sauvignon Blanc offers vibrant aromas of jasmine, orange blossom, and floral notes. The wine enters with juicy acidity on the palate and follows with a broad mouthfeel and subtle creaminess. The flavors of pink grapefruit, lemon sherbet, and honeydew melon complement this refreshing, balanced wine."
