Description
In operation since 1899, the Santiago family farm traditionally sold the majority of their grapes to the large co-op wineries in the area. In 2009 Grandma Mariazinha decided the family should start selling their wine under their own label, and Quinta de Santiago was born. Dedicated to biodiverse and sustainable farming, "cuddle the nature" as Grandma would say, all grapes are hand harvested and vinified using native yeasts and all wines are vegan. This Vinho Verde is a blend of Arinto, Trajadura, Loureiro. Super bright, high energy palate with an effervescent mouthfeel; racy stony minerality and green apple finish.
