Parent to both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc can be downright cantankerous if not farmed properly, but if done right, the resulting wines can be some of the most rewarding in the world. In this cuvée, an initial hint of strawberry gives way to aromas of graphite and sunbaked river stone, all of which is framed beautifully by savory notes that include white pepper and hints of summer truffles.
