The Hourglass Estate in Napa Valley is more well known for its excellent Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux blends, but they make great Sauvignon Blanc as well. The Hourglass style of Sauvignon Blanc is always one that combines oak and stainless steel, a number of vineyards, and a dash of Sémillon to the Sauvignon Blanc to create a rich mouthfeel and layers of flavor that come together to make a wine that is the greatest sum of its individual parts. Honeydew, Meyer lemon, peach and green apple all play a role in this complex wine; it finishes crisp and clean.
