Description
This wine is sourced from the Kiser vineyard of the famed Sangiacomo growers in the Sonoma Carneros region of Sonoma Coast. The vineyard is an old block of heritage Dijon clones, which shows great fruit intensity and purity. This new release shows how much this site has to offer, with wonderful flavors and aromatics that are seldom reached in other sites. 2021 Baldassari KISER VINEYARD Chardonnay has a complex aroma profile showing Lemon Blossom, Lemon Oil, Lemon Curd, Honey Suckle and floral notes, French Vanilla bean and Crème Brulé. There are subtle notes of stone fruits such as white peach and Mango, both fresh and dried with sugar. The palate has juicy fresh flavors of lemon and orange curd, custard, and juicy white peaches and dried Mango slices complimented with notes of Crème Brulé and nougat.
