VENN is the sister label to family-owned Young Inglewood in Napa Valley. VENN wines are delicious upon release and evoke the convivial spirit of community. A quirkly blend of 49% Aligoté, 28% Malbec, 23% Merlot that is mouth-watering and waxy, juicy and bright. Native fermentation in stainless steel barrels, direct press. 17 months in neutral French oak and stainless-steel barrels, minimal racking, minimal SO2 added. No fining or filtration.
The Young family has been caring for this vineyard for a decade and a half. It’s an old alluvial vineyard site dating back to the 1870s, where the vines were last replanted in 1997. Organic practice, regenerative farming and respect for the land mark our time here; gravel and loam define the soils. Split Y trellis. CCOF certified.
