Description
Dusty saddle, menthol, blueberries, cassis, brush, black currant, old cedar box. The palate is dark, black ripe berries, licorice, spice and edgy tannins that pair with heartier food and stews. From Vignobles Lagardere, a 4th generation winemaking family, their estate is rather large now after building up vineyard holdings. Almost 90% Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon in Stainless Steel and cement vats from the Montagne-Saint-Émilion AOC, which borders on the beloved Saint-Émilion AOC.
