Description
The Abraxas Vin de Terroir bottling from Robert Sinskey is always distinctive, flavorful and, while not a sweet wine, sometimes gives the impression of sweetness with its aromatic varietal make up of Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. If it were made in Alsace, it might be called Edelzwicker with all those grapes blended together. But it is made from Carneros fruit and has a breezy California feel to it with lifted acidity and bright, fresh citrus and stone fruit flavors and a nice edge of minerality on the long, flowing finish.
