Probably one of the most iconic wine labels in the world, the baroque motif of the St. Urban of the winemakers, and one of most respected winemaking families not only in Austria but in world. The Knolls have practiced viticulture in the Wachau for generations, with their first estate bottles being filled in the 1950s.
Deep, intense and ripe on the nose with notes of crushed stones and tropical yellow stone fruits. Dense and intense on the substantial palate, this is a full-bodied, concentrated and sustainably structured Loibenberg with great intensity, grip and mineral tension. The finish is very long, intense and quite powerful and still dominated by its ripe fruit.
