This 2018 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot revels in its Sonoma Coast origins; with clear cherry red fruited flavors, a subtle spice and a smooth, almost creamy texture, all hallmarks of this fine producer that has been making great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay since 1988. Of this particular wine, they note it "offers a complex, layered expression of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir with inviting aromas of warm cherry cobbler, butter crust, cinnamon, clove and Mexican chocolate, as well as hints of menthol and fresh leather. On the palate, it is smooth and elegant, with creamy tannins supporting abundant layers of sweet, pure fruit. Bright acidity provides an energetic note that supports the rich flavors while adding length and focus to the finish."
