A flagship Bandol rosé from one of Provence’s top Mourvèdre estates, perched high above the Mediterranean on limestone terraces. This dry, elegant rosé offers bright red berries, citrus zest, white peach and Mediterranean herbs, with a saline, mineral finish that’s built for the table.
The vineyards of Château de Pibarnon create a natural amphitheater, sitting atop La Colline du Télégraphe at a height of 300m, staring directly out at the sparkling Mediterranean bay of La Ciotat. This is one of the few terroirs that can ripen and sculpt the surly Mourvèdre into the kind of fine, supple and fragrant wine that Pibarnon is famous for. They produce rosés with power, persistence, depth, and sneaky longevity, with the added benefit of being chameleons on the dinner table.
Château de Pibarnon farms their vineyards organically with some biodynamic practices, emphasizing soil life and minimal intervention.
