When Duckhorn Wine Company started to expand its repertoire beyond Bordeaux varietals into the Burgundian world of Pinot Noir and later Chardonnay, they developed a name that 'defines the idea of movement'. Migration became the new label back in 2001 and today represents wines from cooler climate appellations across northern and southern California, 'migrating' from its original home in Mendocino County. Sourced from some of the finest cool-climate vineyards on the Sonoma Coast, this alluring Pinot Noir reveals inviting layers of ripe cherry, strawberry, rose petal, caraway and plum. On the palate it is lush, cohesive and impeccably balanced, with fine-grained tannins carrying the wine to a long, silky finish.
