Description
This 2022 Chappellet Mountain Cuvée is a blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 6% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Phillip Corallo-Titus describes it as follows, "This beautifully aromatic wine leaps from the glass with concentrated aromas of flashy dark cherry, blackberry and plum, as well as hints of toasty oak, clove,
cardamom, marjoram, and thyme. The ripe berry flavors are echoed on the
richly textured palate where they mingle with notes of coffee and chocolate.
Offering lushly layered fruit and spice and perfectly balanced tannins this wine
is perfect for drinking in its youth or for short-term aging."
