Description
Second Grand Cru en Classé from the 1855 Classification of Napoleon. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot and 1% Carmenère. The nose is bursting with black fruits, spices, floral and woody scents. It is charming and of great complexity. It expresses the perfect maturity of the 2017 vintage. In the mouth, the wine is generous, savory. It is very powerful while silky and velvety. Great tannin richness with the necessary acidity to be beautifully balanced. The finish is impressively long. Undoubtedly a very great and long aging Brane-Cantenac.
