Woodinville embodies this effort by utilizing local grains, Port barrels, and the varied climates across Washington State to create exceptionally flavorful and interesting whiskeys. Their Port Cask-Finished Bourbon boasts notes of brown sugar, dry baking spices, and oak that are closely followed by grilled plum, raisin, espresso and cacao. It's unctuous, vibrant, and smooth.
