Following founder Louis Pommery's death in 1858, his widow Madame Pommery is credited for inventing Brut Champagne in 1874. This innagural release of the Pommery California are sourcefrom grapes carefully selected across California’s finest vineyards. With an emphasis on the geographic diversity of the region, the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are then nourished to perfection by the warm sun, cool breezes, and mineral-rich soil. Made of 96% Chardonnay and 4% Pinot Noir, Louis Pommery is an ode to the maison’s iconic style, evoking vivacity, freshness and finesse.
