This Brut Rosé is a blend of 60% Chardonnay Bouzy Grand Cru, 28% Pinot Noir Bouzy Grand Cru with the remaining Bouzy Rouge (still red Pinot Noir from Bouzy). It was aged for seven months then put into bottle for secondary fermentation where it aged for four years before disgorgement with a dosage of 8 g/l. The Saves rose typically drinks more like a light red wine given its noble concentration and nicely integrated tannins. We love it for that reason and that it has enough structure to stand up to and pair well throughout a meal. A hint of red floral aromas, notes of red apple skin and a firm, yet silky finish make up the impressive character of this refined Champagne.
