Since its founding in 1996 in Paso Robles, California, Firestone Walker Brewing Company has grown into one of the biggest and most respected craft breweries in the country, scooping up piles of awards and accolades along the way. Firestone jumped at a recent opportunity to sample the beers at their source and get a look at the brewery’s unique process, which churns up to 80 batches per week through its tanks.
Firestone West Coast style IPA showcases stunning pineapple, citrus and piney aromas along with exceptional dry hop flavors of grapefruit and tangerine. This intense brew finds its balance in honey-like pale malt sweetness. The name Union Jack is a nod to the colonial origins of the IPA style, and to the British expatriate who co‐founded their brewery.
