A delicious and refined sparkling rose from the infamous Ettore Germano estate in Piemonte. Sergio was inspired to make a classic method rose and thought it only fitting to name it after his mother, Rosanna. It is 100% Nebbiolo, picked early for extra freshness and sourced from their younger vine vineyards in Barolo. It was pressed quickly to achieve the pretty pink color and fermented as a white wine in 80% stainless steel and 20% barriques (for added complexity.) It then spent 16 months on the lees before disgorgement where no liqueur d'expedition is added, only topped off with more of the wine. Light, dry and complex with that wonderful Germano character, it makes for a lovely aperitif or as a pairing with less hardy Piemontese cuisine.
