Description
This 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon also includes 7% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec. It shows surprising freshness and accessibility at such a young age and reveals a core of sweet plum tinged fruit along with already nicely integrated, yet structured tannins. Or, as winemaker, Peter Heitz more eloquently notes, "Notes of Bing cherries, blackberries, and spicy red currants draw the nose to deeper tones of black figs, dark chocolate, cedar, and sage. The palate satisfies aromatic promises, as deftly balanced tannins highlight impressive acid lift, freshness, and tension, while boasting richness and roundness through the finish."
