From the winery: Harvested by hand in the cool of the early morning, whole clusters of Beckstoffer’s Melrose Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc were carefully sorted and delicately pressed. The juice was cooled for a “low and slow” fermentation, preserving its bright acidity and breezy aroma. Structure and body were built in barrel, aged for six months sur lie in neutral French oak. This is 100% an electric wine. It begins with crisp citrus and straw on the nose, leading into raciness seen only in a handful of Sauvignon Blancs. That energy of lime, grapefruit peel and a touch of 9volt. Acidity and tingle are the prounounced effects of this clean and pure wine. It demands the sunshine and a charcuterie board with salumi and melon! Enjoy this bright white ice cold on those warm summer days when you need to quench yourself with a really clean wine!
