From the producer: In 2000 Jeremy and Jacques Seysses of Domaine Dujac launched a venture that redefined the role of the négociant in Burgundy. Under the name Dujac Fils et Père, the son/father team established partnerships with some of the top growers in Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey Saint-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny. The resulting wines are made with the same care and attention the family lavishes on their estate bottlings. A lifted intensity of blackberry and sweet cranberry. There is a concentrated richness on the palate with sappy pastille-like depth. Sleek and refreshing, whilst reflecting firm underlying structure and density, there is much to admire here.
