Pasquale Cenatiempo's wines from the volcanic island of Ischia, just off the coast of Campania. The origin of the Biancolella grape is unclear, however some theories say it comes from Corsica, Sardinia or Greece. It is used in blending on Capri and the Amalfi Coast, but only found unblended in Ischia. The wine is generous in its aromatics, with tons of spring blossoms, and more sweet citrus towards the finish. Every year, our eyes open widely as the new vintage arrives to us, and we eagerly take home bottles for our own consumption.
