From Mick: Barbera is definitely one of our favorite varieties. Our 2018 comes from two clones of Barbera planted in 1998 and 2007 on our estate. Our selective approach in the vineyard combined with a great growing season resulted in a wine that resembles high-end Barbera from Asti. Cooler than normal weather in late August, early September resulted in enhanced aromas and fruit. This wine reminds me of our very successful 2015 vintage. Drink now and over the next 2 to 3 years.
