Description
This Domaine is one of the legendary estates of the Côte de Beaune. Michel died earlier this year, but his son Frederic has been running the estate with him for many years now. They make very traditional wines, with no new oak to overpower the purity of the fruit coming from their organic (Biodynamic) vineyards. The 2017 Meursault Village is very pretty, offering up an expressive bouquet of pear, crisp peach and lemon oil. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, satiny and tangy, with juicy acids and a precise finish.
