From the producer: Château Prieuré Lichine, fourth classified growth of the Margaux appellation, is situated on a 70 ha vineyard straddling five communes. Its vineyard, made up of gravelly Günzian soils, is worked on a plot-by-plot basis using the principles of sustainable viticulture. The vineyard's grape varieties are dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (63%), supplemented by Merlot (32%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The vines have an average age of 30 years. Offers a moderately full-bodied attack followed by a rich, full-bodied mid-palate bursting with aromas of blackberries and juicy black cherries. The freshness of the fruit is supported by a velvety texture. The fruity aromas quickly coat the tongue and the inside of the cheeks to end on a rich, elegant and remarkably long finish.
