Description
The second wine of Château Lagrange, Les Fiefs de Lagrange is a red wine produced in the Saint-Julien appellation. The 118 hectare vineyard is planted on the gravelly hillsides of the Garonne with silica-gravelly soils on clayey-limestone subsoils. The 2016 vintage of Les Fiefs de Lagrange is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. Dark red in color with shades of purple, it reveals intense fruity fragrances (black cherries, blackcurrant cream) and spicy notes (licorice). The wine is a lively and fresh on the palate, dynamic and perfectly balanced.
