Description
The fruit for this Monterey County Chardonnay from Bernardus was sourced from vineyards primarily in Arroyo Seco and Santa Lucia Highlands. It was then fermented and aged in French oak barrels, 33% of which were new. This wine has been one of our better selling half bottles of Chardonnay and is very consistent from vintage to vintage, showing classic aromas of ripe stone fruits, vanilla and lightly toasted oak. The palate is rich and full bodied and the wine finishes with good acidity.
