Rosso di Miani is an intense, full-bodied and spicy red wine born from different grapes grown in the Eastern Hills of Friuli, assembled every year in variable percentages. After maturation of at least 24 months in French oak barrels, it gives off deep and complex hints of pepper, dried flowers, berries and sweet spices. The sip is soft and structured, with a good and elegant freshness ruby red with black cherry sparkles; the consistency is full, although the alcohol is not at very high levels (13%).
Approaching it to the nose, you can enjoy the freshness of fruit, concentrated wood, from wild blackberry to plum and black cherry, interspersed with vegetal scents that recall the presence of cabernet franc. Then it opens, showing an above average personality, with spicy aromas of clove and juniper, pink pepper, sandalwood, withered flowers, ending with an elegant note of tar and tobacco. On the palate its strength and dynamism can be recognized, great body and above all finesse, almost perfect tannins, still incredibly active acidity, which then lets out an extremely stimulating and pleasant sapid sensation. The impact is decisive and rich in pulp, the fruit is soft and juicy, you can perfectly recognize the style of a full-bodied red with a Friulian character, never excessive, faithful to the territory, balanced and still very young. The persistence is long and very corresponding, clean, traces the aromatic stages previously perceived on the nose. A wine that can still grow for many, many more years.
