Paratus is Latin for “prepared,” and this one is: aged 22 months in French oak. A saltiness lingers on the tongue while a juicy, black-fruited component refreshes. Structurally sound and elegant – a concentrated, stand-up wine - 92 points INTERNATIONAL WINE REVIEW The 2012 Paratus shows a dark ruby purple and aromas of roasted meat, earth and dark berry fruit, as well as a fleshy palate with hints of pepper, earth. and slate. It has firm dry tannins, and should drink well within five years of the vintage and over the next 10 to 15 years
