Phenomenology is a school of thought in psychology that focuses on phenomena, or, the experiences that we get from our senses.
A brilliant packaging hides an amazing blended malt in it. Malts from Glenlossie, Tamdhu, Highland Park, Talisker and Caol Ila comes together and makes a magical whisky.
What I feel is a sheenful whisky with layers of richness. I feel the beautiful dram wrapped by floral and fruity notes from a Highland whisky.
Nose: Beautiful peach, ripe melon, vanilla cake and just a hint of lemon. There is also the trace of coastal notes underneath, taking over in time.
Palate: Creamy with apples at the front developing into tropical fruits with some nutty feeling. Nectarins come along with a little bit salty dryness (I think which comes from Caol Ila) and making your mouth craving for some juice.
Finish: Long and pleasing and grassy like a good Speysider!
