The Rive Sud Rose has been a very popular wine in our $12 & Under section for years. It represents one of the better values we've found in rose from anywhere in the world, consistently over-delivering on quality for the price. Then, we discovered their just as tasty Sauvignon Blanc and we've had just as hard a time keeping it in stock as the rose. This 2016 has a lot of personality with an almost Musque clone-like character of vibrant citrus and green apple notes without any intense grassy overtones to get in the way of the juicy, tasty fruit. The finish is crisp, clean and dry, just what we would expect from this very high quality driven co-op in France's Languedoc-Roussillon.
